Mō te tūnga - About the Role
We - re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic
Allied Health Assistant with a - can-do - attitude to join our Physiotherapy
team, working across the acute Christchurch Hospital site.
You will bring a strong desire to be part of a team
and be dedicated to continued learning and striving for the best patient
outcomes.

Tasks will include:

  • Carrying out treatment plans as delegated by a registered Physiotherapist
  • Maintain documentation, records and accurate statistical
information to reflect care provided and to meet professional standards,
both locally and nationally

  • Cleaning/maintaining equipment and clinical spaces
  • Checking and maintaining consumables and stock
  • Delivering and set up of equipment
  • Supervision of exercise/activity programmes as delegated by the Physiotherapist
  • Obtaining clinical notes as requested by the PhysiotherapistNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako
  • Skills and Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a sound communicator
  • The ability to follow direction to assist in the delivery of
treatment and rehabilitation plans

  • Basic computer skills essential
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to health
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of
