Mō te tūnga - About the Role


Allied Health are a diverse group of clinicians who provide a wide range of preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic treatments as well as rehabilitation and enablement care across a patient - s whole life course.

Some of the teams in this group are dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech language therapists, and social workers.


Allied Health are working on ways to enhance tangata whaiora and whanau (person and family care) service delivery to help with the journey through our health system and are looking at growing their assistant/Kaiāwhina team working with them in their team.


Ko wai koe | About You


This role is to provide patient support on specific wards at Christchurch Hospital working alongside a variety of different Allied Health professionals.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

  • No graduate qualifications are required although literacy and comprehension at NZQA Level 2 or equivalent is desired. _Training will be provided on the job and you will need to be willing to work towards an appropriate Career force Level 3 qualification once you are settled into our team.
