About the role:


The Build and Run my Business Tribe is backing our frontline by building products to make banking simpler and easier for our people.

We know we can do this by supporting and maintaining the core systems we use today, while building intuitive and effective solutions that will allow us to help our customers into the future.


Salesforce (nCino) is our new cloud-based lending system which will replace our legacy systems across Business and Corporate Banking and is a key example of living out our strategy of being simple and easy every day, brilliant when it matters.

The foundational release of nCino is in production. The team are now focused on delivering and testing regular continuous releases.


You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale.

We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering and testing, in any given day.

We are looking for a mix of test management, QA, and technical test skills to support the following activities:

  • Building out and supporting enhancements to our nCino Test Processes
  • Managing and reporting the status of all nCino testing
  • Fostering proactive and continuous improvements within the test team and wider testing community.

About you:

We are looking for an individual that will lead the testing of a large programme of work.

Someone who not only understands good QA practice that includes engineered test automation, but also someone who can provide, non-line management leadership to a distributed test team.

A person who can own and report the overall test status and provide QA guidance to the wider BRMB team, leaders, and stakeholders.

Our technical solutions, drive continuous change for the squads and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes.

You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver products that delight our customers.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven Testing Leadership
  • Created and maintained programme level Testing Strategies
  • Developed sustainable and agile test processes that incorporate test automation
  • Indepth technical capabilities to grow.
Net/RestSharp/Selenium/BDD test automation

  • Managed complex integrated test environments and test data
  • Captured, tracked, and escalated status, risks, and issues to management
  • Provided test sign off against test coverage, execution, defects, and risks
  • Developed strong positive stakeholder relationships over a continuous release stream
  • Has fostered proactive and continuous improvements to a testing community

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Worked in financial services systems.
  • Salesforce and the nCino banking modules.
  • MS Azure experience and/or certification
