Our Business Analysts are key to enabling changes that add value to our NZ Post teams. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments and business units to gather requirements, analyse business needs, and develop solutions that meet the organisation's objectives.

You'll model, verify and validate requirements and design and recommend solutions to solve complexities and maximise value. Our business analysts are the customer advocates and synergy between the enterprise and project/programme teams and are critical to successfully delivering strategic initiatives.

Your success in this role will play a critical part in the success of our future network and last mile delivery. It will allow our couriers to grow their businesses with us over time as there's more demand for parcel deliveries, more competition for drivers, and a growing desire from customers to have longer and more delivery days.

We are looking for an intermediate-level BA who has a few years' experience in the technical tools that make a good BA great.

You'll be:

  • Proficient with information gathering and modelling techniques, such as interviews, workshop facilitation, value stream and process mapping.
  • Agility focussed.
  • Familiar with both predictive and iterative planning approaches and toolkits.
  • Confident in navigating dynamic environments and ambiguities and prioritise tasks with a strategic focus.
  • Proficient in analytical reasoning and innovative problem-solving.
  • Ideally, you'll have practical business analysis experience in supply chain or the transport industry.
  • You'll be creative and curious, with excellent communication skills.
