Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

The primary purpose of the role is to:

  • produce engaging multi-media content for use through a variety of channels including social media, our website and intranet that supports the Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora brand.
- maintain the integrity and visibility of our brand through consistency of content.
- work alongside others to support the delivery of the team's priorities, and to contribute to continuous improvement in processes and practices within the team.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in similar roles that include content creation, production and editing.
  • May have general experience in working across multidisciplinary teams where multiple communications activities (media, design, strategic planning, stakeholder management), are needed to achieve a communications outcome.
  • Experience with engaging external stakeholder groups and contributing to developing and delivering work that has had a positive impact.
  • Experience with producing quality work in a busy and complex work environment managing multiple functions/tasks to deadlines, often under pressure of short timelines.
  • Experience in contributing to solving problems and developing options and provide trusted, and sound advice.

We are working towards a system that better meets the complex demands of a growing population, addresses the persistent inequalities experienced by Māori and ensures greater access, experience, and outcomes for those traditionally not well served by the system - Māori, Pacific and Disabled People.
