Fluid Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly regarding multi-disciplinary consultancy in search for a senior surveyor to join one of their new purpose-built offices located in the CBD. Employing approximately 70 staff across Christchurch & Auckland, they are leading the way in innovation in the land development sector.

This opportunity is catered to an individual who enjoys working as part of a proactive and supportive team. Joining this organisation, an individual would be contributing to the continued success of a rapidly expanding company that has a proven track record. They are providing the opportunity to become and project lead, taking ownership of projects, dealing with clients, and leading more junior staff.

Being a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with NZ-based cadastral knowledge is crucial for this role. Only New Zealand based candidates will be considered for this position.

You will

  • Have extensive knowledge of subdivision, cadastral and land surveying projects within New Zealand with a proven track record
  • A relevant survey related qualification (LCS)
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the cadastral/land surveying sector
  • Have experience in the operation of modern scheduling/ programming systems and technologies
  • Possess excellent organisation skills to aid your ability to work autonomously to manage and progress complicated projects
  • Enjoy building relationships with clients and within a diverse work environment

The role

Take on a diverse range of captivating and challenging projects that will keep you engaged and continuously developing as a surveyor. The work you will be involved with is large-scale residential projects from conception to completion managing varied projects from across the region working alongside in-house planners and engineers.

Working with the latest hardware, the organisation provides all the tools to further your experience and expertise

  • A senior surveyor will provide mentorship and leadership to developing surveyors
  • Contributing to the constant development of projects within the Canterbury region
  • Success in this role will come from a passion to provide a nation-leading service along with create and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers
