About the Role EHS Support is currently looking for a Compliance Specialist within the Business Services Group.

You will be responsible for managing project delivery; assisting with auditing and regulatory compliance projects; and executing environmental due diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) clients.

Approximately 40% short-term and extended travel is expected for this role.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Assist with multimedia (e.g.

, air, water, waste) environmental, health and safety (EH&S) compliance support in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations by:
Permitting, sampling, and reporting.
Data handling and analysis.
Conducting regulatory research.
On-site compliance support at client facilities including: Classification, inventory, and handling of hazardous materials.
Auditing regulatory compliance and management systems at the plant and corporate level.
Developing EH&S management training materials.
Traveling to and participating in field activities.

Actively follow the landscape for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) communications, including ESG standards, and can effectively advise and consult for clients.

Qualifications/Education Bachelor's degree in science preferred, with at least 5 years of direct experience in environmental due diligence, environmental compliance programs, including CAA, CWA, RCRA, CERCLA, SPCC, environmental compliance auditing and support, and related consulting with a solid foundation in technical and regulatory subject areas, specifically understanding of: U.

health, safety, and transportation regulatory programs Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM , including language and methods of M&A transactions and environmental due diligence, liability estimates, and environmental risk mitigation.

Environmental sampling techniques Highly Qualified Candidates The following skills are highly desired: Knowledge of state-specific and any international regulations Experience with conducting environmental compliance audits, assessments, and inspections to determine compliance with federal, state, and local standards and company and agency environmental policies and procedures.

Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001)

Experience in ESG research and reporting Prior consulting experience Traits required for success in our team:
