Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand Taupo Kids Community Full time

TKC is on the hunt for our next beautiful team member

We are a small, mixed age centre that caters for 45 tamariki per day. We provide a beautiful outdoor environment that offers endless exploration, a safe and stimulating indoor space that provides open ended opportunities for all.

We are seeking an experienced head teacher who enjoys themselves in their workspace, has a love of tamariki and passion in seeing children succeed and being a part of that journey. A teacher who can have a laugh and loves being part of a team. A teacher with a strong knowledge in Te Whāriki, planning and assessment and who can guide all to achieve their goals.

A head teacher with the drive to succeed and support other teachers in their teaching practice. Ideally, we would like someone with two years' experience in a head teacher's role, who can clearly articulate themselves, our curriculum and have the drive to extend their own learning and knowledge. Someone confident and capable in working alongside experienced teachers, the centre manager and trustees.

We offer flexible working hours, would consider 4 days a week, 12 sick days per year, support in PGC, your own choice in professional development, uniform provided, first aid training provided, teacher registration paid for, generous non-contact time each week and a fun environment to work in.

We believe TKC is a special place to be a part of and are seeking someone who will love our place just as much as we do. This role is for an immediate start.
