The Culture
The Role
The NZ Distribution Manager is based in Favona at the new Ultralon manufacturing and distribution site.
You will be focused on:
- End-ToEnd oversight of order entry to despatch
- The management of inbound materials ensuring sourcing on time and in full and the despatch and delivery of finished goods to a nationwide roster of customers
- The development and implementation of effective strategies to optimise inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels and minimising stock discrepancies
- Compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and promoting a safety culture
- Driving KPI performance in productivity and order accuracy and implementing improvements where needed
- Management of the customer services function, and as a liaison to the Sales, Operations and Finance teams
- Managing relationships to external logistics providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance to ensure service level agreements are met.
We seek people who possess:
- People leadership experience in warehousing, logistics and customer services
- A welldeveloped analytical aptitude for evaluating performance of warehouse and operational functions
- Organisational, leadership and management skills proven through delivering performance improvement
- Having 3PL experience and a good understanding of DIFOT and health and safety best practices
