Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Te Toka Tumai – Auckland City Hospital have an opportunity available for a Senior Social Worker to join our team working in the Liver Service - permanent, 0.8FTE. You will be completing biopsychosocial assessments for patients and their whānau who are being considered for candidacy for a liver transplant. In addition, you will provide supportive counselling to patients and whānau who are adjusting to and coping with a chronic disease, in particular addiction related counselling interventions focused on behavioural change. Having completed training in this area or be willing to undertake this is required. The role will be varied, and each patient's needs will be unique.
