About the role


Working across the operations in The Local Taphouse and our award-winning EATBurger, you will be responsible for ensuring that your team is highly engaged and motivated and the outlet operates to the highest possible standard of customer service.

You will have both administrative responsibility, and responsibility for being hands on in the outlet to develop a high performing team.

You will also;

  • Provide direction, training and development to your team
  • Handle day to day responsibility for the customer experience at The Local Taphouse & EATBurger, including dealing with customer queries and resolving complaints
  • Consistently meet the requirements as a Duty Manager of licensed premises (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012); promote and ensure staff understanding of Host Responsibility requirements.
This is a Full Time opportunity, working 40 hours per week. This role will require flexibility in your availability as it will involve working nights, weekends and public holidays.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will also;

  • Have fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicator
  • Hold a current General Managers Certificate
  • Have significant bar experience
  • Have competency in developing and mentoring staff
  • Have previous Rostering experience
