Reporting to the Lab Manager, your primary role will be the processing and ordering of lenses with potential to progress to all facets of the business.


This is a diverse role which will touch many facets of our business, requiring someone who can comfortably transition between tasks with a 'can do' attitude, is essential.

The successful applicant will find themselves an integral member of our professional team.

  • Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:_
  • Receiving and dispatching of daily orders
  • Processing of prescription lens orders
  • Input of data including editing of lens orders
  • Identification of different frame styles, types and manufactures
  • Shape tracing of all styles of spectacle frames
  • Ability to communicate and work within a team environment to meet customer needs and deadlines, with a cando attitude
  • Work in partnership with Lab Manager and team members to meet company targets
  • Willingness to be flexible in working hours
  • The key skills required for this role include:_
  • 12 years working experience in a team environment preferable but not essential
  • Responsible for providing a consistent quality product which can be delivered to the customer within time frames, meeting all quality standards
  • Willingness to learn new skills, ability to cross train into various related tasks and contribute to a team environment
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Process driven individual who is organized, has attention to detail, excellent administration and time keeping skills, ability to prioritise and be flexible often dealing with adhoc queries from customers
  • Proficient computer skills
