Grand Millennium Auckland is seeking a hands-on individual to join the Maintenance team as our
Plumber. This is an ideal role for long term applicants.

You will engage in regular maintenance management of the hotel including but not limited to;

  • Preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
  • Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
  • Working in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organised.
  • The role will involve duties specifically relating to the plumbing trade.

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of and experience with copper and plastic pipe fittings
  • Excellent planning and coordinating abilities
  • Ability to take Initiative when presented with problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Predominantly a Monday to Friday role, but evenings and weekend work may be required on occasion
  • A logical and practical approach to general maintenance problems
  • 15 years' fulltime experience as a qualified plumber preferred
This is a full time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Annual salary between $75,000 to $80,000.
