Mailroom Operator

We have an amazing opportunity for a
dayshift Mailroom operator to join our
Christchurch team based in our Christchurch print plant.

This is a fast paced 7 day a week operation and we are therefore looking for a person who can adhere to a positive team culture of responsibility, accountability, teamwork, creativity and a focus on our customers' needs.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Publishing Supervisor in operating, running and maintaining the Mail room publishing equipment
• Working with mailroom machinery that collates, inserts and bundles newspapers for dispatching.
• Ensuring the site's health and safety program is adhered to
• Build an excellent track record and ensure continuous improvement
• Setting up equipment and procedures to achieve the best possible results

Key requirements:

• Ideally, a background where you've worked in a modern print mailroom environment
• Experience meeting tight deadlines in a production environment
• The ability to be self motivated
• Strong time management skills
