General Technician

To manage inwards return, assist with repairs, maintenance and assembly of products for customers and display. To manage our spare parts and work alongside front line staff to salvage our seconds products.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive inwards goods and make a note on TSB central portal
  • Sort TSB central portal on a daily basis and with attention to detail
  • Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform authorized repair of the products
  • If product cannot be repaired, salvage parts, sell as seconds online or dispose off in a complaint manner.
  • Document work to be performed on TSB central for all inwards goods.
  • Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedure
  • Communicate with Frontline and warehouse staff to source the correct part and sort the customer.
  • Advise the frontline and manager immediately if any additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed with the delegated timelines.
  • Pick and pack parts orders as requested by staff on a daily basis or as and when required.
  • Perform tasks advised by the manager as and when requested.
  • Assist with the up keep of showroom by assembling and displaying products accordingly
  • Manage all spare parts in an orderly manner so it is available when required
  • Reorder spare parts as and when required so there is sufficient stock levels
  • Act in good faith with a great level of attention to provide a timely outcome for the business and it's customers.
  • Adhere to strict timelines for reverting back to frontline staff and customers

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Rotating roster

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
