The Role
The
Membership Lead is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and growth of the JB Hi-Fi NZ membership proposition.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role will partner with various stakeholders to grow customer participation, develop and deliver the communication plan for members; including planning of customer offers, development of and communication of value initiatives, and the reporting and optimisation of membership adoption.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the rollout of the JB Membership program nationally.
  • Coordinate and execute member communications including but not limited to, promotions, events, surveys, and competitions
  • Manage calendar for member communications
  • Work with stakeholders and brands to create valuedriven messaging and offers for members
  • Brief internal stakeholders/resources and external agencies/suppliers
  • Manage planning, asset creation, approvals, and implementation of membership communications
  • Work with internal operations, merchandise services and IT teams to coordinate the execution of key initiatives and maximise their impact
  • Review reporting & analysis and recommend areas to optimise performance
  • Stay uptodate with current technologies and trends in membership and loyalty

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications or Marketing desirable
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar marketing role in retail
  • Experience across various digital marketing channels for cohesive campaign planning and delivery
  • Experience in managing and understanding customer data, including segmentation, profiling and privacy compliance
  • Experience working with agencies and/or internal studio resources
