**About the Role**:
In this role, you will provide top-notch occupational therapy services aimed at helping clients reintegrate fully into their daily routines. Operating independently with your clinical caseload, your adaptable and forward-thinking approach will be crucial in navigating a fast-paced and inventive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide quality patient service, ensuring satisfaction of patients, referrers, and funders.
- Perform assessments and modify treatment plans based on patient condition changes.
- Efficiently manage caseload within clinic team, adhering to appointment timeframes.
- Facilitate effective communication by informing patients of progress and expected outcomes.
- Maintain concise and timely communication through appropriate mediums.
- Uphold professional standards and codes of conduct, aligning with our client's values.
- Manage equipment following policies and procedures, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Enhance knowledge through regular in-service sessions and maintaining professional associations.
- Contribute to clinic improvement by attending meetings, sharing suggestions, and reporting issues.
- Fulfill general accountabilities, such as project work, alignment with values, and adherence to policies.
- Embrace the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and manage key internal and external relationships.

**About You**:

- Customer focus, motivation, teamwork, and leadership skills

- Prioritize safety, understand procedures, report hazards, and mitigate risks.
- Possess recognized qualification and registration as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist by the appropriate New Zealand Board.
- Maintain a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) issued by the relevant Board.
- Hold membership in the respective society corresponding to your qualification (PNZ or OTNZ-WNA).
- Demonstrate membership in or agree to join Hand Therapy New Zealand.
- Prior experience in patient-focused, upper limb-oriented roles.
- Adaptability, action-oriented approach, open to learning, professionalism, and respect.
- Patient-centered approach, strong professional skills, effective communication.
- Prioritization abilities, proficiency in IT tools, privacy and confidentiality adherence.
- Work within own knowledge and skills, adhere to scope of practice.
- Abide by professional body's and Hand Therapy New Zealand's guidelines.
