Are you looking for a supportive learning opportunity to develop your dietetic knowledge and skills? Nutrition and Food Services is dietitian led, with a strong focus on improving patient nutrition and food experience through a quality food service.


  • This position would suit a new graduate dietitian that enjoys variety and a different challenge every day. It will enable you use your dietetic knowledge to lead projects to further develop our food safety, nutrition, quality, and training programme. You will be able to widen your technical knowledge and practical skills, by working with a range of health professionals in assuring safe, nutritious and quality food is provided. This is also a great opportunity to develop your collaborative, problem solving, and teaching skills.
  • This role will see you out and about as it involves travel around the Waikato region to the rural hospitals, but you will be based at Waikato Hospital alongside a team of dietitians and food service managers. Whilst this is a fixed term appointment, there are likely to be other dietetic opportunities within Te Whatu Ora, Waikato in the future.
