Job Description:

Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Project Management team in Auckland are expanding and looking for and Associate Director/ Project Director who has led and worked on large scale construction projects across a range of sectors, ideally including health, high-tech (Data Centres), commercial and/or education.

As an Associate Director or Project Director with Turner & Townsend you must be capable to lead projects, manage a team, have a commercial focus and balance working across major projects.

The successful applicant will be working closely with and supported by the New Zealand's Director for Project Management.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage large scale commercial/ hightech/ health projects as the key client interface Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.

Managing project safety and environmental requirements Managing project timelines, risks and reporting Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track Qualifications: A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management years industry experience working on major health, high-tech, commercial and/or educations projects Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be of benefit Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programmes as the key client interface Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
