We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in a critical role providing operational and administrative support to the Operations Manager, Surgical Business Unit

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Surgery, your role is accountable for ensuring that medical workforce rosters are developed and administered efficiently, and to support the timely recruitment of staff into the services.

The position is also responsible for supporting the orientation and credentialing for all medical staff in the directorate and for providing general administrative support.


Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage rosters for both SMOs and RMOs in Amion
  • Update changes in Amion including leaves (for annual, sick, CME) and backfill resulting gaps
  • Process clinic profile templates for Services
  • Participate with Outpatient Operations Groups (OOG) and Theatre Operation Group (TOG) to maintain clinics and theatre lists
  • Verify and check expense claims, pay sheets and overtime/additional duties
  • Provide administrative support: recruitment, onboarding, RMO/SMO support, orientation, credentialing, minuting business meetings, payment of invoices
  • Check and process Continuing Medical Education (CME) & conference planning forms for SMO/RMO

  • You will be part of a busy team comprising two Medical Workforce Coordinators and two Operations Coordinators, all supporting Surgery. The surgical team treats more than 13,000 patients a year, comprises of more than 200 doctors across 9 specialities including Plastics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Maxillofacial, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Trauma, General Surgery and Urology.
