Two Roles of Supervisors:


As Farm Supervisor you'll be responsible for coordinating all on-farm activities throughout the year, making sure that grower and industry compliance requirements are met.

Your actual tasks will be many and varied throughout the year and flexibility and extended work hours will be required especially during seasonal peaks.

You will be required to supervise the day to day activities of both internal and contractor teams at different times, ensuring teams are safe at all times and following best practice.


Applicant Must have:

Experience within the horticultural industry is preferred, but other team-leader or supervision experience will be considered. We are willing to teach and upskill those who demonstrate enthusiasm, a great attitude and a passion to join our team

  • Previous experience with farm equipment such as tractors and sprayers
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and time management skills, as this job is very demanding during peak season.
  • Supervise, identify and monitor farm resource requirements/allocation including staff, supplies and farm equipment in support of the company director.
  • Supervision of farm team member performance including induction, engagement, training, health & safety, and timesheet administration.
  • Liaise with Farm Manager or company Director on a daily basis to discuss continuity of farm work programmers and communicate to teams as required.
  • Assist in Harvest Operations as requested by Farm and Post-Harvest Management
  • Observe and monitor plant health for signs of stress, disease.
  • Supervise the team of all workers in the team (ranging between 1012 workers per team)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible and sometimes long hours including weekends.
  • A good level of physical fitness and enjoy working outdoors.
  • Full Clean New Zealand or Overseas Driving License (Optional)
  • To be highly selfmotivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • To be committed to health and safety in the workplace.

About the Pay Rate:

Pay rate:
Start From $30 - $32 Per Hour

Location of Work:
Waikato, Hamilton

Hours Of Work: 40 to 55 in per week

Three Roles For Farm Care Workers:

Your primary role is to ensure the strawberry fields are maintained to best practice / industry standards so our Berry Fruits have the very best environment to grow.

The duties will be those typical in the horticulture sector including pruning, spraying, planting, harvesting. You will be required to use company equipment such as tractors and sprayers.

You will also be expected to follow company rules to ensure the health & safety of yourself and others - this can include wearing PPE, safe driving practices and following standard operating procedures.


While we are ideally interested in talking to people who have had some previous experience in the horticultural or agricultural sectors, because there are multiple positions available, we have some scope to vary some jobs to applicant experience.

To be successful in the role you'll also need:
Previous experience with Horticulture equipment such as tractors and sprayers.

Self-motivated with high levels of integrity.

Reliable and punctual


Able to work flexible hours, particularly in the high season (October - January) as the Berries and Asparagus are ready for harvest.

Work safely and effectively as part of a team.
