For over 125 years, T&G Fresh has nourished generations of Kiwis with fresh fruit and vegetables.
We grow, pack, market, sell, distribute, and export fresh produce from our own orchards and farms, as well as from over 1,200 Kiwi growers.
T&G is New Zealand's largest producer and packer of hothouse tomatoes.These crops are grown in state-of-the-art environmentally controlled glasshouses, across our 4 North Island sites, and are packaged for both local and export markets 52 weeks of the year.

About the opportunity**We are looking for casual Glasshouse Workers to work at our Tuakau site, start the New Year with a new job and join our team in January. This will be to help out during busy times and to cover leave, so as and when required.
You will be working on our tomato crop in our glasshouses, which includes picking, de-leafing, pruning, clipping and twisting. You don't need previous experience or skills in horticulture as onsite training is provided.
You will certainly stay fit in this role as there is plenty of walking; and also the glasshouse can get pretty warm so you need to be ok with working in a warm environment.

About you
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to work in warm to hot temperatures
- The ability to do physical work (lifting up to 25kgs) and a lot of walking
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- To be comfortable working at heights (high trolley work)
