  • Day to day running of all RRCL truck & trailer & transporter movements.
  • Maximizing profitability of Transport division ensuring all drivers are working efficiently and as per instruction Able to outsource trucks if required.
  • Scheduling truck drivers to collect material.
  • Control and monitor the movements of the truck drivers.
  • Planning delivery routes to stop time delays for Materials to the project adjustments and pickup/ delivery timelines.
  • Checking quarry rates and ensuring the correct product has been delivered to the correct project on the quoted from the tender pricing.
  • Checking drivers time sheets and only charging the project the correct hours on site with a 30min travel time for each truck
  • Tracking drivers logs such as dispatched tracking drivers logs on orders and arrival times to projects.
  • Monitoring truck repairs and ensuring their regular maintenance is completed, Daily liaison with workshop manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Insuring good communication between pickup and delivery (Project)
  • Good Computer skills. Microsoft Excel & Word competent plus iAuditor software for Health & Safety reporting.
  • Engage subcontractors to work on a meter rate for carting material to site within the projects budget and check with the project Manager for the site Rates.
  • Planning upcoming workload on a daytoday basis
  • Recording customer complaints and inquiries
  • Investigating new workload if RRCL has no work within the company.
  • Build relationships with other companies.
  • Directing plant movements within the RRCL company
  • Running the mowing division for the maintenance of the RRCL property holdings and Project
  • Conducting daily prestart meetings with all the drivers. Planning of day.
  • Reporting all accidents and incidence
  • Toolbox meetings
  • Coordinating servicing of the plant in liaison with the workshop manager, scheduling in Vehicles for COF keeping track of the mileage and reporting this to the office if need new mileage on a dayto day base.
