About the role

  • Draft offers, employment agreements, job descriptions; promotions and variations to agreements.
  • Administration of onboarding new employees and manage our Compressed Work Fortnight process.
  • Maintain our digital HR files with starters and leavers and update organisational charts.
  • Support the HR Manager in collating data and preparing HR reports and presentations.
  • Maintain HR and Recruitment records and documentation; reviewing templates and updating as required.
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of training courses for employees.
  • Opportunity to work on your own HR projects and support the overall business strategy.

Part time hours proposed are 20 hours per week, over 5 days; however, we can be flexible and open to discussion.

About you

  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and always happy to assist, with high confidentiality.
  • Excellent organisational skills, working to a high standard, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and the capacity to multitask and adapt as priorities change whilst keeping calm under pressure.
  • Good communicator, who enjoys working with and relating to a wide range of people. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • HR or Recruitment Administration experience within a similar role; supporting in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • A passion and interest in HR, with an aspiration to develop a generalist HR career
  • NCEA or equivalent.
  • Completed or studying towards a qualification in Human Resources, would be an advantage
  • Highly proficient in using Applicant Management Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Packages
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Have a proactive approach to problem solving, with strong decisionmaking skills.
