Your Role:

Design:
Create detailed HV/MV substation layouts

Lead:
Guide and develop junior engineers aspiring to be protection engineers and lead technical discussions with clients to determine the optimal solution to meet their needs

Deliver:
Ensure successful project outcomes on time and within budget.

Develop:
Procurement standards/philosophies for clients and internal use.

You will be an intermediate or senior electrical engineer who will have extensive primary substation experience with HV/MV distribution and/or transmission projects.


Requirements for the role below:

  • HV/MV asset experience.
  • Over 8 years of postgraduate engineering experience in developing substation layouts, incorporating requirements for earthquake resistance, short circuit analysis, environmental conditions, and fire protection.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering
  • Proficient in Earthing analysis tools like CDEGS.
  • Analytical and passionate about engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of specifications, standards and codes.
  • CPEng accreditation (or working towards it).
