About the role


As a Manufacturing Administrator you will contribute to the efficient operation of CARTERS CHRISTCHURCH MANUFACTURING PLANT whilst working in consultation with the Carters team to ensure that the branch and its team members are part of an active health and safety culture.

  • Manage the printing, optimising, and stacking of our frame and truss jobs.
  • Communicate with external and internal customers providing and maintaining strong relationships, actioning, and responding to any queries.
  • Maintaining secure documentation records, preparing reports
  • Allocate materials, labour, service and freight on a jobbyjob basis.
  • Coordinate and book deliveries
  • Champion health and safety processes and initiatives.
  • Managing the H&S administration, identifying, analysing and reporting on risks and incidents
  • Keeping licences up to date
  • General office administration and clerical work

About you

  • Confident administrator with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • A team player with the right attitude.
  • A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.
  • You are great with systems, can navigate multiple at a time and able to pick up and understand new software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must.
  • Building industry knowledge is advantageous.
