We are looking for a digital communications adviser to join the Brand and Channels team in our Strategy, Governance and Engagement branch.

This is a fixed term position through to April 2024 based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office, covering parental leave.

Mō te tūranga | About the role
This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise as a CMS guru.

You will provide tactical digital communications advice and support to the organisation to ensure our digital channels, particularly our website and intranet, are accurate, secure and audience-centric.

While your day to day focus will be on uploading content to our website and intranet (using the Squiz CMS), you may also be called upon to showcase your writing skills to support a wide range of communications and engagement projects and campaigns.

Social media experience would also be a bonus. Excellent relationship and organisational skills are a must, as is a can-do and proactive attitude.

You will be lucky enough to report to our Channels and Brand Manager, an engaging manager who values diversity of thought, is focused on developing and growing her team, and is always open to new ideas and ways of working.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience and working knowledge of website content management systems, particularly the Squiz CMS
  • An understanding of what makes for a successful digital journey for audiences
  • High attention to detail and the ability to stick to a process accurately
  • The ability to selfmanage and to be proactive
  • Strong organisational and relationship skills
  • Social media and writing experience as an added bonus
