Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
As a valued member of the education unit at Auckland Sexual Health Services you will be have two main areas of focus:
- Being a programme coordinator and mentor of the Peer Sexuality Support Programme (PSSP) within a variety of secondary schools in the Auckland regional area including delivery of three residential hui at the start of each year.
- Deliver high quality sexual health education and promotion events for priority populations and those agencies, organisations or supporting services engaging with them, including; training institutes, tertiary providers, schools, community organisations and iwi based providers within the Auckland regional area.
The role will also undertake agreed activities as delegated by the team coordinator to support delivery of the Sexual Health Education Service objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant certificate/diploma qualifications at National Qualification Framework Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent)
- Current full car drivers' licence
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective selfmanagement, time management and organisational skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Effective facilitation skills
- Project or programme management experience and skills
