As a Duty Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the safety of patrons, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for aquatic activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the overall operations of the aquatic facility, including pools, water slides, and other aquatic areas.
  • Ensure the safety of all patrons by enforcing facility rules, monitoring activities, and responding to emergencies or incidents promptly and appropriately.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate events, programs, and activities within the aquatic facility.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all patrons, promoting a culture of respect, teamwork, and enjoyment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within an aquatic facility is highly desirable.
  • Must possess current lifeguard certification and first aid/CPR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of aquatic safety practices, regulations, and emergency response procedures.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and customers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Organizational and problemsolving abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of swimming programs and instructional techniques is an asset.
  • Must pass a background check and any other preemployment screenings required.
