we do
We are a small team of dynamic and motivated Dietitians
who provide clinical dietetic services for inpatients across the Older Persons
Health and Rehabilitation service based at Burwood Hospital. We also have an outpatient
service for Orthopaedic weight management. The team has a variety of experience
to help support and facilitate your continual professional development while
you provide locum Dietitian cover as needed.
This is a casual position, days of work will be
within the Monday to Friday service hours.

The Role:

Where you fit in
You will be a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with
some clinical experience who can be flexible to provide clinical cover across
inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and the potential to support community
teams. You will ideally have experience in the rehabilitation setting and be
able to confidently implement the nutrition care process. You - ll be expected to
support student dietitians, new graduates and your wider allied health
colleagues.

Your skills will include:

  • A New
Zealand Registered Dietitian with current Annual Practising Certificate is
essential

  • A drive to ensure best health outcomes for people with nutrition
related disorders with a special interest in Older person - s health

  • The ability to work within a team and contribute to the provision
of quality care within the service;

  • Being selfmotivated, organised, be
confident working across all areas of Older Person - s Health and rehabilitation
and enjoy a challenge

  • Sufficiently computer literate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication
skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with patients and
