Mō te tūnga - About the Role


Our team of dynamic and motivated Dietitians, based at the Christchurch Health Campus, provides support to adult and paediatric patients across a range of clinical specialties including oncology, orthopaedics, otolaryngology, respiratory, neurology, general medical, surgical wards and outpatients.


We are seeking a new graduate superstar who is ready to kick-start their career and who has a strong desire to learn Working as part of a close-knit team, you will receive regular supervision and opportunities for professional development and you will also be encouraged to develop your skills and professional interests.

This is a full time, fixed term position from approximately May May 2024. The days and hours required are Monday - Friday

Ko wai koe | About You**In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing nutritional assessment and nutritional care plans to inpatients and outpatients within the adult team;
  • Providing nutritional education to patients within the service, enthusing and motivating real behaviour change;
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with health providers.

  • A drive to ensure best health outcomes for people with nutrition related disorders;
  • The ability to work within a team and contribute to the provision of quality care within the service;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with patients and other people within the service;
