Mō te tūnga - About the Role

Our Food Services Dietetic Team at Christchurch Hospital are looking for a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate to join us in this fixed term role.

Our team contribute to the safe provision of a quality and efficient food service that meets the nutritional requirements of individuals during their clinical treatment
Ko wai koe | About You

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting staff and management with professional advice on food service projects and initiatives.
  • Supporting Food Service Dietetic projects eg menu planning, food safety, technology
  • Supervision of Dietetic student Food Service placementsNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako
  • Skills and Experience
  • To be successful you will be a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a full driver s license, a competent user of food analysis software and other programmes, and have excellent communication skills;
  • Being passionate about food and nutrition and enjoy working in different teams;
  • Experience in the provision of education and training programmes, along with experience in clinical nutrition is highly desirable.
