Accounts Receivable Manager.



Reporting to the Head of Transactional Shared Services, your key functions will include:

  • Develop, coach, and support a high performing team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Oversee and manage the processes to review invoices for accuracy and resolutions for discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections, and cash flow.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support monthend and yearend closing processes.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
  • Act as the primary contact with the Company's Trade Credit Insurer to place cover and ensure appropriate compliance with reporting and claiming policy and process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing and collection processes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in accounts receivable management or a similar role in a large organisation.
  • Experience in leading a high performing team.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • A curious mind to proactively explore opportunities to improve processes, including being able to challenge existing ways of working.
