In this role, your primary responsibility will be fabric welding on Straitline's products using a hot air welding system.
All tools will be provided, and you will be fully trained and be part of a supportive team.


This is a full-time
permanent position working Monday - Friday (45 hours per week), however on occasion, you will need the flexibility to work outside of normal working hours when needed.


Overview of key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out fabric welding on products as per guidelines
  • Ensuring fabric welding is completed satisfactorily and within specified time frames
  • Accurate tracking of time and materials used on each job (using paper and tablet based systems)
  • Clear coating and digital printing
  • Ensure your machinery and workspace are kept clean and tidy
  • Assist with tasks in other areas of production when needed
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  • High level of physical fitness
  • Practical, hands on experience with tools (essential)
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Proactive and enthusiastic nature
  • Reliable team player willing to help out where needed
