Mō te tūranga | About the role


This role is involved in a diverse range of programmes of work promoting road safety practices to our communities across the Waikato.


We have programmes that teach foundation road safety skills to children, supporting Students Against Dangerous Driving, collaborating on programmes for impaired drivers, and more while also working with partners and stakeholders which encourages sustainable journeys that reduce transport emissions.


You will be a whizz at telling stories about our programmes and successes, developing resources, preparing reports, maintaining databases, administering delivery of the Young Road User programme including managing bookings, the resources and the Kids Club.

You will also get to work with our road safety mascot Ruben the Road Safety Bear, Rupene te Pea Haumaru Huarahi.
