ACC have an exciting new piece of work and are ramping up resources to assist with the planning and design phase.

We are currently building two new Salesforce teams and are looking for multiple Salesforce Platform Engineers on either a permanent or contract basis to assist with this work.


As a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer, you will be leading the day-to-day activities of ACCs Salesforce platform and ensuring solutions and new features meet customer needs and are developed in accordance with best practices.

Part of your role will involve mentoring and supporting the development of Junior and Intermediate Platform Engineers, so you will be in your element demonstrating engineering best practice and supporting with pair programming and reviews.


Key activities will include:

  • Being an active leader within the Salesforce community at ACC by sharing your knowledge to grow the Salesforce capability. Leading the implementation of further processes, enhancements and tools to support environment setup, Path to Production, system integrations, testing, Platform development, data and security configuration.
  • Conduct quality assurance, peer review, and signoff of development
  • Working within the five lines of assurance to ensure risks are being managed effectively
  • Building and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders sharing the right information at the right time to enable informed decision making.

Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako - Skills & Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience in developing core Salesforce products including platform, sales, service, experience cloud and Omni Studio
  • Proven experience in in Agile ways of working, including Scrum, Lean UX or Kanban, and continuous development/delivery methodologies and automated deployments
  • Sound understanding of modern development techniques and DevOps frameworks such as Flow, Unit testing and CI/CD
  • Proven handson experience in custom development using Apex and Lightning components
