The Role:

As an environmental engineer in our expanding Waikato team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering pragmatic and sustainable solutions, contributing to a more environmentally conscious future. You will:

Provide specialized technical advice to our clients and team, engaging in a variety of stimulating multidisciplinary projects.

Contribute to solving complex environmental challenges, making a meaningful impact by addressing daily "wicked" problems.

Collaborate with like-minded individuals, fostering personal growth and professional development in the fields of environmental and civil engineering.

About You:

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, emphasizing a dedication to fostering a more sustainable future.

Passion and Problem-Solving: A drive for problem-solving, thriving in challenging environments, and a strong commitment to sustainable and environmental outcomes.

Experience and Interest: Proficiency and interest in areas such as design of three waters infrastructure (including Water Sensitive Design), consent reviews, engineering investigation, scoping, design, site investigations, optioneering, initiating Integrated Water Management, catchment management, and experience with GIS (a bonus).

Technical Proficiency: Adeptness in various software programs like BRICS Cad, 12d, HEC RAS, and GIS. Strong communication skills, especially in report writing.

Passion for Sustainability: A high level of interest in three waters engineering, sustainability, and the environment, with New Zealand experience being a significant advantage, particularly in Local Government, Water Sensitive Design (WSD), understanding of transport engineering, road design, and hydraulic modelling.
