Are you an experienced Systems Engineer in with SQL Server Database Administration?


We have an opportunity for a
Senior SQL Server Database Administration Engineer to join our New Zealand team of engineers, consultants and architects.


In this role you will be part of a multi-client focused team that provides management and support of a predominantly planning and installations of new SQL Server Installations and databases, in accordance with customer requirements.


Sound knowledge of some of the following:

  • At least 5 years SQL Server Database Admin experience in a similar role
  • Experience using Enterprise class Service Desk and Operational Management & Automation tools and processes to deliver IT support services IT infrastructure security
  • Good understanding of troubleshooting SQL Server performance problems
  • High availability & Disaster Recovery technology
  • Windows Operating Systems, virtualisation, and/or Azure experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Working with project teams
  • Quality documentation and reporting
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments
  • Previous experience working for an MSP is highly regarded
