About the role


The purpose of the Equipment Testing Coordinator is to work collaboratively with the Equipment Testing Team to ensure equipment across all operational regions is maintained and compliant, in an efficient and cost-effective way.

The primary focus of the role is to streamline workflow planning and management by liaising with operators, testing technicians and other relevant stakeholders to efficiently plan the testing, certification and repair or replacement of equipment (including all vehicle electrical testing) as these requirements occur.

This role also includes the provision of active support to the Equipment Testing Team by assisting with testing and calibration procedures as demand requires and where appropriate.

This is a hands-on role working with the Equipment Testing Team to deliver timely and efficient testing for compliance of all:

  • Personal protective equipment used for working at height and around live electrical equipment
  • Equipment and instruments used for proving, testing, and bonding
  • Appliances
  • Vehicle electrical testing (Earth bonding and insulated EWPs)

Skills /Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum 5years' experience in a coordination/planning role
  • Relevant electrical qualification
  • Experience planning and scheduling work in a complex environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in electrical equipment testing: e.g. HV PPE, testing equipment, live line protective equipment, vehicles electrical testing, and instrument calibration
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Current and valid driver's licence

Desirable:

  • Current Electrical Practicing Licence
  • Knowledge of the electrical supply industry and affiliated industries that Connetics operates within
