Our fleet of 2 ships and over 200 trucks is supported by a nationwide network of 10 depots and a 450+ strong team to deliver hundreds of thousands of tonnes of freight (and passengers) weekly.


  • We currently have an exciting position available for an experienced Metro Dispatcher, based at our brand new depot in South Hornby. This is a full time position
  • Monday to Friday. The work hours are 6.30am4.30pm.

We are looking for a Dispatcher whom:

  • Possesses good communication and organisational skills
  • Has a positive customer focused attitude at all times
  • Is able to prioritise successfully in a fast paced environment
  • Has a high regard for safety and compliance
  • Is computer literate
  • Shows a genuine interest and desire to succeed in their career
  • Has a good geographical knowledge of Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region
  • Holds OSH forkhoist certification would be advantageous

What you will be doing:


Day to day dispatching and co-ordination of allocated units ensuring these are utilised to full potential and deliveries and pickups are completed on time.
