About the role


We are on the hunt for commercially astute, progressive, and broadly experienced National Planning and Inventory Manager for our NZ Operations.


You will be responsible for driving improved forecast accuracy through IBP and CPFR practices and managing target inventory levels ensuring we have the right service level, mix and the right product in right place at the right time.


Key responsibilities- Supports the GM Operations in the planning and execution of the operations end-to-end strategy in market, ensuring alignment with global supply chain strategy- Ensures identification of executable actions that deliver to the strategy, resulting in increased market share and profitable growth- Responsible for the planning, delivery and execution of strategic business transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practice and GSC strategy- Collaborates with Global Supply Chain for continuous improvement opportunities, and communicates in-market activities that may impact wider supply chain.

Supports process improvement projects- Delivery of key metrics of Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Inventory levels, Backorders, Stock Availability, Direct Ship Performance and Customer DIFOT.- Coach and develop Demand Planning and Inventory tea,m and broader Operations team and individuals to lift capability- Category inventory health governance ensuring excess and obsolete stock is identified, communicated, and responsibility allocated to maintain healthy inventory levels- Identify and facilitate improvement initiatives to reduce backorders, slow moving, trade seconds and obsolete stock- Provides insights and information relating to supersessions and New Product Introduction (NPI).

Monitors sell-out plans for obsolete models and sell-in of NPI models.

You will have previous experience with; integrated business planning (IBP), collaborative planning, forecasting & replenishment (CPFR) programs with customers, inventory management and supply chain best practice.- Proven leadership and coaching capabilities with proven results- Transformational leader- You will be prepared to set and achieve challenging targets and expectations, take action, and consistently strive for outstanding results.
