About the opportunity:


Our client, Caritas, is part of an international confederation of aid, development and social justice agencies whose work tackles both the causes and effects of poverty and injustice and responds swiftly to emergencies around the world.


Responsibilities will include:


They are looking for an EA/Office Manager who will be responsible for supporting the Chief Executive (CE) with managing their day-to-day role and ensuring the CE has the correct information and details at any given time.

This role will also provide support to other Senior Leaders as required and work collaboratively across the Organisation.

This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities:

  • Previous experience working as a PA/EA
  • Commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
  • Awareness of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori
  • Well organised and plans effectively
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Is comfortable working in an environment with confidential information
  • Experience or exposure working for an NGO (is preferred but not essential)
