11 June 2023Our client is an international organisation who is a leading provider of risk and claims management services throughout the world and they are looking for a bright and motivated customer service professional to join their Auckland based team.


In this role you will be working within a busy team providing exceptional customer service to clients while managing appointments and triaging to progress claims in an efficient and professional manner.

This is a long term temp assignment working full time hours (Mon-Fri) and based within Auckland's CBD.

The Role

  • Assisting with management of claims, ensuring they are processed in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracy
  • Answering incoming calls from our Customers, Clients and Supply Chain network
  • Gathering appropriate level of information and details to complete a comprehensive triage with customers.
  • Planning and booking assessment appointments in consultation with Assessors, and other services as required
  • Participating positively and constructively as a team member, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and suggestions
  • Understanding and interpreting insurance policies across a range of products
  • General administration duties related to claims including information gathering, followup with repairers and obtaining photos, quotes, requotes and any additional information
  • Other ad hoc duties as required by the case management team
  • Previous experience in a fast paced customer service/call centre role is essential
  • Knowledge of insurance operational processes, practices and risk management would be an advantage
  • Strong resilience and able to work in a highpressured environment
  • The ability to multitask and problem solve with an eye for detail
  • Excellent customer service skills; empathy and dispute resolution capability, with strong influencing and negotiations skills
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to efficiently learn new systems
  • Ability to meet critical timeframes and deadlines
  • Enthusiasm and initiative, with the willingness to contribute to a dynamic, professional and positive team environment
