Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Reporting into the National Security 3rd Party and Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the assurance process that ensures that cyber risks are identified and addressed effectively

  • Working with technical specialists, you will be responsible for converting technical assessments to risk reports designed to inform the business of the risks identified in a business/risk language
  • A good understanding of the technical components of cyber risk assessments in order to report the risk accurately
  • The reports will help the business understand the potential impact of technical issues and their risk on business operations
  • You may also need to present the report to senior stakeholders and help them understand the impact of risks on business operations
  • Build lasting and trusting relationships, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to improve national risk conversations
  • Assess third party vendors using various tools and report on the risks identified

Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako - Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 5+ Years' in an IT Risk or compliance related role
  • Experience working with the C&A process (preferred)
  • Broad stakeholder/relationship management experience in health (preferred)
  • Excellent report writing ability
  • Cyber or risk professional certification(s) (e.g. CRISC, CIA, CISA, etc.) (preferred)
