Our Supply team are the team that fuels our customers, literally Supply at Z Energy looks after the whole fuel supply chain and ensures we have what we need, where we need it.


We have a newly created role within our Supply Chain team for a Kaitātari Mahi Ara Tukutuku Supply Chain Performance Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to enable the effective optimisation of Z's import supply chain.

The role scope will span demand forecasting, legislative compliance, Treasury reporting and performance reporting/analysis.

This role provides a unique opportunity to learn and develop an understanding of Z's import supply chain from a financial and operational view while providing support to the Bilateral Commercial Lead in tenders and generating competitive advantage for Z.


You will have the opportunity to

  • Manage Port Allocations and ensure Z's customers are given their fair share of supply
  • Track, value and report all term/spot trades completed with Other Energy Companies
  • Prepare compliance reporting for the Fuel Industry Act
  • Prepare hedging charts and cashflow reporting
  • Deliver analysis and performance reporting
  • Manage our Supply Chain demand forecasting

This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington or Ōtautahi Christchurch.

Qualifications:

What you'll bring to Z

  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of a supply chain function
  • Experience in reporting and forecasting
  • The ability to use successful thinking strategies to solve problems and make decisions
  • The ability to analyse problems both logically and mathematically
  • Expertise in building relationships with internal and external contacts, forming partnerships that support business success
  • Strong collaboration skills in order to utilise crossfunctional knowledge and add value

The base salary range for this role is $96,475 to $113,500 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
