**Job Description** Are You An Awesome Analyst looking for the next step in your career?**
We’re looking for an Analyst to help us keep the good energy flowing.
As our Analyst you will play a critical role in ensuring that we meet the supply and distribution needs of our customers all across New Zealand. Working closely with the Lead Analyst and our LPG teams, suppliers and contractors you will be responsible for a portfolio of work which is interesting, varied and critical to the success of our business, including:
- Performing a wide range of analytical tasks including forecasting; modelling and creating and maintaining models and spreadsheets.
- Using your analysis and modelling to make recommendations to the business and our suppliers that ensure we are operating as efficiently, effectively and safely as we can.
- Creating regular and adhoc reports using reporting tools such as Power BI
- Handling and resolving issues related to supply, demand and/or the logistics chain
- Identifying and implementing improvements to our processes, models and systems
- Acting as a back up to our Lead Analyst as required
- Project work
**Qualifications** What you will bring**:
As well as being a great team player who takes pride in doing a great job you will have:
- Proven experience as an Analyst.
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft including Excel to a macro level
- Strong working knowledge of reporting tools and databases
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
- Previous experience working in the logistics/transport sector is preferred.
