About the Role

The Security Manager - Platforms is responsible for overseeing a team of IT Security Consultants to ensure that all operational aspects of Information Security align with the organisation's policies, business requirements and risk position.


Requirements:

Expert knowledge of information systems, operating systems, databases and networking.
Knowledge of finance management principles. Knowledge of industry wide cloud platform technology strategies and best practices.
8+ years of IT experience.
4+ years' experience specialising in Information Security, Risk Management or Audit.
Preferably within a complex and multi-faceted manage services environment.
Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of relevant factors.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.
Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Ability to develop and maintain a quality assurance program.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Competent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information across various levels.
Ability to communicate technical concepts and align them with client business goals and objectives.
Ability to build and lead collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
Ability to chair meetings and provide leadership in stressful situations caused by tight delivery timeframes.
Strong consultative and planning skill
