The Enablement Manager position is a new role within our Security Vetting unit. The role will be responsible for the development and delivery of a strategic enablement plan that connects customer engagement, business improvement, training and performance analysis functions within Security Vetting to contribute to the delivery of security clearance assessments and capability uplift within the unit.
In this role you will ensure the secure, efficient delivery of high quality national security clearance recommendations to New Zealand Government agencies.
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in leading and maintaining a highly performing team and delivering results through others. Your leadership will inspire others to challenge their views and welcome opportunities for change.
In addition, you will bring extensive experience in strategic planning and stakeholder relationship management. You will also possess the following:

- 5+ years experience in the management of insider threat risks and mitigations, in the context of the Protective Security requirements (PSR)
- Minimum of 2 years experience leading a security vetting team
- 2+ years product management experience of Vetting Systems (Tiaki and Mātaki) as well as proven ability to build and maintain relationships with third party vendors
- Experience in leading change through others, including continuous improvement
- Planning experience and provision of operational risk management and guidance
