The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Workshop Manager to join the Fulton Hogan team in Christchurch.


In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the Christchurch Workshop Department to ensure it operates in a safe and productive manner and delivers a high level of service for our clients.


On a day-to-day basis you'll be leading the 18 strong team to ensure our communication, scheduling and work practises are effective and deliver successful results.


In addition to the above, you will be:

  • Monitoring all aspects of the work to ensure it is productive and cost effective
  • Managing and developing the staff in the workshop
  • Completing month end reporting to review costs and revenue
  • Working with the rest of the business to provide sound advice on repair and maintenance solutions for our plant
What you'll bring to the table


We're looking for someone with excellent experience in the mechanical industry, and someone who is great with people and passionate about maintaining a high level of service in our workshop.

A relevant mechanical qualification and previous experience with civil construction equipment and contracting is desirable
