Job Description:


Due to an internal step into secondment, we have an opportunity for a VMI Account Specialist on a 12-month fixed term contract to support the field and sales managers in planning and preparing business plans, reporting, forecasting, and replenishment for retail customers.

You will facilitate and support activities to ensure we execute strategies in a consistent, professional, and effective way with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders while representing New Zealand's beloved coffee and tea brands

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the Vendor Managed Inventory for North Island and South Island Foodstuffs
  • Support our Field and Sales Managers with retail customers across the North and South Island
  • Work with internal stakeholders with ad hoc tasks in forecasting, category, and replenishment
  • Plan and prepare joint business plans and customer review reporting
  • Consistently communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, including the field team, marketing, sales, customer service, finance, and supply chain
  • Update targets and weekly performance reporting

For this role as a VMI Account Specialist, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You have experience within the FMCG setting, with working knowledge of the retail industry
  • Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Management experience
  • Foodstuffs North Island preferred
  • Experience with Nielsen, Dunnhummby or Aztec
  • You demonstrate proactiveness to action multiple priorities and anticipate the needs of the business
  • You hold experience working across teams including marketing, finance, category, replenishment, forecasting, and supply chain
